I have just started to play the original metroid but i can not remember where to find the bombs. please help i am stuck!!!!!!!!

Ah yes, I remember the good old NES days of "WTF do I do next!" Anyway the bombs are fairly simple to find, from the start, climb the first long vertical corridor until you see a door leading to the right, go though this door and keep going strait until you can't go right any farther, now just go up until there is a door leading left, continue in that direction, and the bombs should be yours.
