I'm gonna go tomorrow, I think, and buy a copy of MegaMan X I saw at EB. They only want 10 bucks for it, which is pretty good considering the rarity of the cartridge nowadays. All I usually see there are copies of Madden 94 and Mortal Kombat.

I also downloaded a nice rom of an unreleased NES game that recently went up at http://www.lostlevels.org called Bashi Bazook.

It's an A-rated game for being developed in 87, and I suggest anyone with an emulator check it out.

Kid Icarus is a decent classic. I never played it too much, but I have fond memories of it all the same.

There's two places I know of around here that usually have a decent stock of retro games. I've every intention of going to look for something new in the coming few weeks. ...And finally play something, too <__<

I don't quite remember what game I got last; only that I'm looking everywhere I can for the zapper and can't find one.

Solstice. I couldn't resist getting it when I saw it. Hope it's good.

I totally think you'd like Solstice, Mosh. ..As long as you can deal with the controls (they're a little weird). I like its music. And it's got very nice graphics for the NES.

Well, it probably don't count for this, but I got the Zelda Promotion Disc for Game Cube. Because of it, I can play old Zelda games. Number one is fun but man...Zelda 2 is like, hard, confusing and not all that fun really. I can't find some candle or something. It's disgusting the way I got stuck so early. -_-

I picked up Legend of Zelda: LttP sometime over the past week. Glad to have a copy of the SNES version - there's no worthless and incessant 4-year-old shrieking when you slash your sword >_<

^^^^Which promotion disc did you get? Sad to say, I've never played anything before LttP. I want to though.

^ Nice buy, although Mega Man 2 is really the pinnacle of the series.

Played much of it, yet?

Either Super Metroid or Megaman X. I haven't gotten a new NES/SNES game for a while.

I just won an auction for Pirates! for NES. $9 including shipping. I want Pirates! Gold, but it's so pricey.

Never heard of it, CK. You'll have to fill me in on the game once you've played it.

I think it's somehow related to the old Sid Meier's Pirates! game (the one that was released last year is a remake, I believe). Like a port or something. But if you want details, you're going to have to wait three weeks before I'm reunited with my NES and eBay packages.

In other news, I won auctions for the NES Might and Magic, and Mike Tyson's Punchout.
