Is Final Fantasy worth $20? That is how much the original is at my local pawn shop, and I want it, but, is it worth it?

I'd say not. If you really want it, get the re-release on gba. Old rpgs like FF are just.. rigorous work.

As AI seemed to be saying, the GBA version (Dawn of Souls) is more worth it, especially as it includes Final Fantasy II which was only released in Japan, on the NES at least. besides that the original version has annoying audio.

I guess I wasn't a fan of the NES' audio capabilites, but some games (Metroid, Mario Bros, Zelda) I can put up with, (the sound that is, apart from that I love old NES games).
