Duck Hunt

This game was going to kill me at one point. The dog drove me nuts with his snickering and the ducks wouldn't die and then I learnt how to cheat... put the gun up against the TV screen!! *laughs* The dog however was still immune to being shot!! DRATS!! Anyways, I don't resort to that these days but rarely play it. Having recently acquired a 'new' NES Zapper, I played last week for the first time in years. Got to level 14 before the screen flashed game over. Oh well.

BTW, why is it that hardly any one calls the gun a "NES Zapper" any more? *shrugs*

Game description:
Released in 1986.
A simple game whereby you shoot at the virtual ducks. In one mode, you get one duck at a time, and in the other, you get the joys of blasting two ducks. The levels get more difficult and you needed some good reflexes. Not the type of game you could play every day but fun for nostalgic purposes. The other part of the game is shooting virtual clay pigeons and hitting them before they get 'out of range'.
This was the first game to support the NES Zapper.

Your task, if you should accept it, is to
1. Rate your gaming experience with this game;
2. Pick your most favourite part, and least favourite; and
3. Rave all you like about this game (even if you haven't played it, don't own it or whatever... as long as it's about this game).
