I represented my area at the 94 blockbuster finals in Florida as a teen that was a magical trip, I won many comps starting in 92 and going up until 97 ish for the SNES, I started thsi thread because I am trying to find invididuals that were also at the 94 finals is there ANYONE FROM HERE that was at the finals in Florida? It's really amazing how the years fly by and you're left remembering the good ol times, I remember winning comps from nintendo trucks, to block buster to local video game store comps through the 90s, is there anyone else that also shares the same story? I hope to meet or hear from individuals in this thread that were involved in the blockbuster competitions, is there anyone out there that posts on here ???? I'll post up pics and some youtube vids possibly of some comps I can dig up when i get home! It's pure nostalgia sometimes, and today is just one of those days..... |

The biggest excitement we had in our area was when Nintendo came through town with a big SNES showcasing tour. That was the first time I ever played Zelda III, and I will never forget how amazed I was by it. Kinda reminds me of when Mario 3 came out, as well. My brother got it for his birthday, and we were the first kids in our school to get the game, so he had a Mario 3 birthday party with all of the guys from his class invited. That was pretty crazy, I recall. Like an early LAN-party, only with NES's. |
