It just wasn't a great Mario movie, since it strayed from the plot so much it sort of lost that Mario feel(looking at the plot, it looks more like a TMNT spinoff than it does a Mario movie). -The Flying Fish ![]() --------------- Dopefish Lives! swim swim hungry swim swim hungry Dwell on the Past | Dopefish Central [ July 02, 2003, 09:43 AM: Message edited by: The Flying Fish ] |

| Guest Posts: n/a | If you just remember how inaccurate it really is, and can laugh that off, then sure it's a good movie! I also think it would make a good rif. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I thought the acting was good, and the whole "other dimension" thing was an adequate story for the "Koopa World" thing...but the evolution de evolution threw me off, plus, since when are goombas towering lizards..? |

Think it's a glitch resulting from forum upgrades or some such. Don't worry about it. Haven't watched the SMB movie in quite a while. It was good clean stupid fun. [EDIT: Hey, weird---I have a duplicate account. ...WAO Last edited by Booyakasha; 10-03-2011 at 12:34 PM. |

Stu, there are artifacts from certain accounts not translating to vBulletin, ever since the server made the change from UBB. You'll probably see older posts by me around here somewhere, if you dig back. They actually don't have any accounts associated with them, afaik. I liked the SMB movie, btw. It's hardly high art, or even faithful, but I never expected a faithful live-action film to even be possible at the time. |
