Killer Instinct

Does anybody remember this game from the retro SNES days?`

Yes. Kind of stopped caring about it after KOF made the scene at the arcade, though.

I loved it! Once I learned how to use Spinal's warp move, I was hooked. I even unlocked Eyegore.

Note to VWF champion: You're image isn't showing up.

Yep...
I thought it was mediocre, although I got some enjoyment out of it.

Killer Instinct was much cooler and much faster than other fighter games of the time, and its combo system was pioneering. The sequel was very disappointing, though, and killed the likelihood of anything else in the series.

I have the arcade version of the game running on an emulator, it's even better than the SNES version.

I've been looking around the net, and found a severe lack of Killer Instinct fan art. I should change this.

^You should draw a picture of Fulgore holding bits and pieces of Spinal, having just ripped him in half like a phone book.

That sounds pretty sweet. I was obviously going to do something with Fulgore, and that's a good concept, so it just might happen.

Anyone else got ideas? My other favorite characters were Orchid, Cinder, and Riptor. I might work them in, somehow.

I, unfortunately, never owned any version except the -fairly- crappy GB version. KI Gold is freakin' awesome, though. Either way, Fulgore is teh awesome.

Word. I have the Gameboy/Super Gameboy cart as well as the SNES cart. Being that it's the only black SNES cart I own, it's pretty easy to pick out of the bunch.
