Red face Underrated Games

Opposite of Overated games. Donkey Kong 64 for me. I loved it.

I'll think up more later. For now, whats YOURS?

I don't know. A lot of the games I normally consider underrated, like 'Blast Corps', are more just obscure than necessarily disliked.

Super Mario Sunshine. It was a fun game, but everyone keeps saying it strays from its roots. I DONT CARE, ITS FUN.

Tales of Eternia. Much like Final Fantasy VI and VII, its obscured by Tales of Symphonia.

Secret of Mana. People need to stop playing it single player and complaining about one of the greatest multiplayer games ever made.

Neither FFVI nor FFVII are obscured by Tales of Symphonia =P Talk about overrated.

I meant VI being obscured by VII, as Eternia is by Symphonia. Gawd, isn't my grammar enough of a distinctive style that you could tell?

Is 2004 retro?

Mortal Kombat: Deception. I really liked the dark(er) feel to it, plus the Hara-Kiris were a great addition. Chess Kombat was a lot of fun, as was Konquest. And a lot of characters got to return after being absent for MK4 and Deadly Alliance.

Although I do have to subtract points for a lack of Johnny Cage.

2004 is like yesterday to me.

It's a little too fresh to be retro. Still, it's okay to post about recent stuff. I'm no fascist.

We don't mind. We're just happy go-lucky people that are living in the past.

N64 or lower is retro now, imo. I also include GBC and GB, but that's just me.

Quest 64 is beyond underrated, not that it should be taken as a great game, but still.

FF8 for the same reason as 6, because of 7. 8 was one of the most unique games, though I do agree that Squall had the personality of a guacemole.
