Ducktales.

Does anyone remember this game that was based off a great TV show?

Of course. It has one of my favorite game music tracks of all time.

Seriously great game, and so was the sequel. It took years and GameFAQs before I knew how to get into the secret level dependably. Games that are loaded with secret areas like this are awesome.

Yes, and the very thought of the game and the TV series brings the music back to mind. DuckTales remains in my collection of Nintendo Entertainment System games until the next treasure hunt from the Earth to the Moon.

Was it really a good game or is there unheard sarcasm here? I almost bought it as a child but opted for Killer Instinct instead, except the one I am talkin' about was on the SNES.

Cool

Nice. Quoting yourself and using Italics. Nice. So I guess the next time I see this game, and I doubt I'll ever see it again, I'll pick it up...

Yeah, if that's how you want to roll. It's definitely worth ten bucks, if you ask me. Tons of secrets, etc. Great gameplay in general, with a different approach to platforming from the main-stays of the genre.

Correct, as the cartridges for their games had a distinct design. You will see the name "Capcom" in a red rectangle near the top of the cartridge and purple (which included the Nintendo logos) surrounding the artwork.

Capcom used to have all of the Disney licensing. Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck, Mickey Mouse, etc. - they made all of the good ones. It's a shame they don't do platformers anymore, because the only company that could do it better was Nintendo.

Did Capcom do Goof Troop, too? Because that was a great 2p game.

It's from the right time-period, so probably.

The year was 1993 when Capcom's Goof Troop was released.

What was the difference? I mean, aside from the SNES having 4 times the amount of colors on screen at once.

Capcom is one of the most versatile developers. No surprise they did a good job with whatever was handed to them to work with. I bet they did that one co-op Mickey and Disney SNES game. I forgot which it was but it was great.

I've never played the SNES version, but the Genesis one is completely awesome.
