Talking Retro Recommendations

So, in the last couple of months, I have gotten a classic Game Boy as well as a Super Game Boy.
I'll also be receiving an NES soon.

So, what do you recommend for them?

Blaster Master, Monster House, Kid Icarus, Batman, and Excitebike

(This is of course, the ones that aren't obvious. GIVE THEM A TRY )

Game Boy:

Super Mario Land 1+2, Link's Awakening, Metroid 2, Pokemon Gold and Silver, Shantae, and Mega Man V just to name a few. Take your pick.

NES: Maniac Mansion, LoZ, Zelda II, SMB3, Kirby's Adventure.
SNES: Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario RPG, Kirby Super Star.
GB: Super Mario Land 2, Killer Instinct, Link's Awakening, Kirby's Dream Land.

As you can see, Mario, Zelda, and Kirby are your best bets.

Mega Man series for definite win. Other NES greats that aren't going to be mentioned by others immediately are: Double Dragon II, the Battle of Olympus (it plays similar to Zelda II, if you can hack it), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 & 3, Solstice, RC Pro-Am, Duck Tales 1 and 2, Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers, Shadowgate, Twin Cobras, Totally Rad, Legacy of the Wizard, Iron Sword, and the Ninja Gaiden series - off the top of my head.

For the Gameboy, I will recommend very highly one under-appreciated title: Gargoyle's Quest. Top notch game.

And if you happen to come across a cart of Evil Dead (NES and GB), get it. That game's awesome.
