I made a prototype to try out the engine; it was a simple village and world map, and had one boss enemy (the King Slime). Defeating the boss lead you into a mystical meadow with a cow telling you you beat the game, which then faded to the game over screen. The most obscure (console) game is probably... Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland (that's a real game, in case you're wondering). |

Also, please never mentioned Freshly-Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupee Land again, please. I thought we had kinda made a silent rule on that. |

Oh God, that game was ****. ![]() Now this was a good game. Fun, innovative gameplay, original storyline, just a great game to play all the way to the end. |

I don't know a lot of people who've played Evil Dead (NES version, completely different than the more modern titles. Really, there's nothing in common). OOH, has anyone played Sub-Zero Mythologies? |

I liked how Lester gradually evolved throughout the game...but not much else. Also, maybe a few of youse have played this, but I never hear it mentioned much outside of old comic ads: ![]() It's fun for a while, and I like how they used actual comic panels for the cutscenes, but it get repetitive and incredibly hard. I also dislike the lack of password or save function. The soundtrack was pretty sweet, though. |

Once, it was stolen from my brother's place. Then, his gf gifted him with another. Now I live in Australia so I bought a new copy. One thing I've always wondered: If you're going to try to inconspicuously snatch someone else's game cart, why the bright ****ing red one? Anyway, I'm almost certain it performed pretty well, because it earned a sequel title - Seperation Anxiety. I own a crapload of games, so it's really not worth mentioning all of them. Newest obscure one I recently got is Plok for the SNES. The games that most of you are likely to have never played are on the PC, though, since VGF seems to be pretty unawares when it comes to PC titles. Alien Legacy, One Must Fall 2097, Betrayal in Antara, Birthright: the Gorgon's Alliance, and SpaceBucks are probably good examples. |
