Tactics Ogre: Let us Cling Together would be the obvious one. I mostly say this because it was a very rare game, like more or less every Ogre battle game that was ported to the U.S, and a remake could really help it. -The plot was terribly translated I think it was translated pretty poorly. Not as bad as Revelations: Persona but still bad enough for you to not exactly get everything. The story wasn't that complex but I think it ws still pretty good. I liked the use of the ethnic fights and how there is an ethnic cleansing. Plus, there was quite a ncie world. One of the things I liked about this game was that while the paths were rather linear and were the "A or B" type, they still affect characters around the story. Characters have slightly different personalities in different chapters of the story and they even play different roles, some show up, some don't, and I liked that. That's also why I went crazy over covenant of the Plume. -i think it could use some leaked experience. It's got literally double the capacity of Final Fantasy Tactics. That game only limited you to 5 characters. Knight of Lodis limited you to 8. Covenant of the Plume had you only use 4. And of course it's going to to be rather difficult to level some characters up. I like the system that Jeanne d'arc used, except maybe I would probably make it so that only the characters on the battlefield actually get experience. There are some maps where you have literally 13 people on your side against like 7 opponents....and the leader is RIGHT THERE so yeah, utter rape. -Not making your characters have to equip consumables. Because they took up space! LUCT only had four inventory spaces as opposed to Knight of Lodis having like 6! And when you consider that before you have multiple healers or a warlock with heal rain, that's a lotta space you could be using for armour. -Rebalancing some of the classes. Unless you were fighting undead, Exorcists were pretty much useless. Sure they could use heal but that's more or less all they were useful for. Their stats weren't that good either, really. I found they were better off as liches, ironically. |

At least, they could give it the Zero Mission treatment. This is a game I'd really like to see translated onto a modern handheld. |

Freaking impossible to get all the licensing and Rare to do it, but, if it could be moved to the Perfect Dark engine and voiceovers given, it'd become totally epic. Also it wouldn't hurt for the Perfect Dark remake to include Bond weapons in multiplayer. |

Y'know, by having the gameplay itself be mostly the same, but expanding the story a bit and adding more playable content (like PO!!'s Title Defense) to make it a game on it's own...if that makes any sense. Personally, I'd like it to have a bright, cartoony look to it, similar to how the official art for the game looked as opposed to going the route of say, Super Smash Bros. Brawl. |

It'd probably have the same kind of gameplay, or would build off the gameplay of the original games. I don't think they're looking for a remake, though. |

Co-op mode would make Goldeneye 10x better than Perfect Dark's co-op, seriously. While PD's missions were still good, nothing beats the unique level designs that Goldeneye had. (Freaking Siberia snowland missions pwn all )

I'm pretty sure Star Fox 64 was intended to be a remake, strangely enough. I second the Metroid II remake, although I honestly think the original is a timeless classic. Amazing content and scope for an old B&W gameboy game. I think Nintendo should bring back Lolo. There's a few others that I'd love to see a return of, too, but I don't really have any desire for most games to be remade. I love the oldschool look and feel, and that's what the Retro forum is all about. I'm all about making new games in the oldschool style, after seeing Mega Man 9 pull it off so well. |

Sometimes it was ungodly hard because all it took was just one wrong move and the entire stage is ****ed, whereas even in Shadow Dragon you could still save it by making a wrong move. :/ but Shadow Dragon DOES have like 6 difficulty levels.... One thing would definitely be making Beldo actually pose a threat. >.< he's PATHETIC! And the SCUMM Games? Definitely would work on the Wii! Same with Clock tower: The First Fear. I'd definitely buy that game if it were remade!

SF64 was shorter in that regard. My complaint was that it (SF:A) was too linear; no branching paths. I still liked it though... |

On the flip side, one of SF64's greatest features was very well voice acting. What also frustrated me was the emphasis on foot missions which strayed away from the 'shoot em up' arcade style of the former Star Fox games(excluding adventures obviously). And then of course the whole siding with wolf thing in a mission or two... ![]() |
