They should make the DSi not suck. I'm not paying hundreds of dollars for the same system I already own plus region encoding.

I'm certainly not buying a DSi. I'm not one of these gimmicky gamers who needs a new fad to follow every five minutes.

Incidentally, why can't they release Game Boy games on the VC? Is there some inherent difference in the programming that's just too great to overcome? (I'm not a tech-head, so I have absolutely no idea about such things.)

^ Not really, since most of Nintendo's VC stuff is through emulation. They should honestly just release games in an app that emulates the GCN's Gameboy Player device, plus some extra functions. I love 2D games, and didn't even consider buying a GBA until after I bought a Gameboy Player, and games for it.

BUT DSi HAS A CAMERA AND THAT MAKES IT 1000 TIMES BETTER!

I had an old clunky DS for the longest time, until it broke. If I get a new one, it'll probably be a DS Lite (at best). And considering over half of my DS play-time would go to GBA games, a DSi is out of the question.

I've played on the original 20 year old clunker before, but ultimately wound up using the Game Boy Pocket.

Guess I'll have to wait a year for its topic to come out.

But if you mean like on the Game Boy Pocket....Mario land 2, Wario Land, Pokemon R/B/Y-G/S, Final Fantasy Legend 2-3, Final Fantasy Adventure, golf, Megaman, Metroid 2, Donkey Kong...

and I'll buy a DSi when they get some decent colours. :B Except that you know how it works...the second you buy a colour of a game boy or handheld, a better colour will come up momentarily.
