Thumbs up BLADE BUSTER: Famicom/NES Homebrew

I just stumbled over this rather impressive homebrew title for the Famicom/NES platform. If you've been living under a rock, that means someone - without the aid of a dev kit or any official support, and without the intent to sell it - built this game from scratch. If you've got a good emulator that can handle Famicom formatted ROMs, go ahead and give it a spin:

Game found via NES WORLD - DEDICATED TO LIFE IN 8 BITS!

To open the archive, you'll probably need a copy of WinRAR.

Looks a lot like a retooled Star Soldier. Or looks quite a bit like Star Prince on Retro Game Challenge. Either way it does look pretty good.

Pretty cool looking.

It's nice that the NES still gets attention from the Homebrew community. It shows what extra creativity can come from the 8-bit system.
