The system had tons of potential, and in a way it gave rise to the best iterations of the Game Boy's games library so far. I will remember it as the system that the Game Boy Color should have been, and the system whose redesigns worked so well, it made many of question why the hell you would want a touch screen and N64-esque graphics when the DS was announced. |

I remember having to position it just right at certain times so there was enough light for me to see everything, but not so much that there was a glare on the screen. The SP fixed that nicely, though. |

Unfortunately I only use it for Pokemon, since it's pretty inconvenient to play anything else sans backlight. The SP was possibly one of the best reiterations of a Nintendo handheld to date, though. Especially the special-edition NES controller one. |
