Weren't they only available in the UK? C64, now, that's another story. That was my first gaming system. Think my favourite games on it were 'Ghostbusters' (C64 version was miles better than the NES and SMS versions), 'Tetris' (awesome music), 'Conan', 'Movie Monster' (weird isometric kaiju game) and 'Jumpman Junior' (puzzle platformer). Good stuff. |

| Join Date: Aug 2002 Location: I rub my tilde all over your asterisk Gender: Posts: 28,100 Thanks: 2,156 Thanked 5,338 Times in 2,433 Posts | I've wanted to play a few games for both, but due to the complexities of emulating even an 8-bit computer system with no prior knowledge of their commands or structure, haven't really gotten around to it. Tried once or twice but I couldn't get the C64 emu to mount the "disk" file, etc. Ended up a bit bummed out and decided I could waste my time easier elsewhere. BTW, it's entirely fair for anyone to mention any other 8-bit gen computer games in here. The Amstrad CPC and Ataris are certainly welcome, for instance. |
