Based on Youtube Reviews I've watched of many of them I'm leaning towards the FC3 Plus. He's the thing, especially for NES playing ones, I which they weren't so Small, we're used to newer Technology getting smaller as it advances, like the Wii. But to being with I think that's part of the reasons Newer technology often doesn't last as Long. My NES as iffy as it can be is now more reliable then my SNES, and my NES is first Generation while my SNES is 2nd. And I'm starting to think my N64 will be the same in only a few years. But besides apply that same principle to a Clone of Older Technology has it's flaws, especially if you want it compatible with older Software and accessories. Allot of reviews for NES playing one mention taking allot of force to put an NES game in and take back out. I think that's because their so small, the Generation Next is barely larger then the Cartridge your plugging into it, that's simply not right. So Modern Systems playing Disc based games being so small and "Sleek" can work. But I wold personally have far more confidence in an NES game playing system if it was as big and sturdy and heavy as the Front Loading NES (But still made for Top Loading) or even bigger. Allot of FC3 Plus reviews B!tch about no S Video, some care abut that way to much, I don't have an S Video Compatible TV, right now I only hook up my Console using AV connections (That's what I think it's called, the 3 Yellow for Video and Red and White for Audio connections). I don't like that with that one I'd have to play my NES and SNES games on basically a Genesis remote (And I only currently have 4 Genesis games I barely ever play, Sonic 1,2,3 and Knuckles). But it's the only SNES playing Clone Console that I know can play Super Mario RPG, the Retron and others can't. The getting smaller complaint bugs me even with the official systems for Handheld ones, for one thing I like larger screens to watch, and I like holding them with my hands not fingers. I don't like that DS games are basically Microchips, I won't even buy and used ones without a Box otherwise I fear they'll be impossible not to lose. Even though there are nearly no decent Games for it, I like the Size best of the Game Gear. If someone made a system like the Game Gear basically in shape and Size, but that can play Game Boy, GBC, and GBA games (And perhaps also Game Gear, Lynx and that one hand held SNK system games), that'd be great. And perhaps if possible add a feature where you could use AV connection to play them on your TV, and it'd be Perfect |

Can the RetroDuo play RPG, and those other games many can't for the same reason RPG becomes a problem? The Duo I've looked into the least, if it has S Video I hope it's not required. The NES/SNES Twin systems are never NES Remote compatible, don't know why, looking at that picture there's more then enough Room, plus again they should be bigger anyway. |

From what I've seen, Retro Duo is compatible with most "problem games" like Castlevania III and SMW2: Yoshi's Island. The S-video port is in addition to standard A/V RCA jacks, although convertors for S-video to RCA and vice-versa are cheap enough. All clone systems have incompatibility issues, usually with lightgun games for instance. If you want to use official NES gamepads for legitimacy, you're better off getting an NES. Nothing about clone systems is legit. |

Kirby Superstar I've heard has also been a problem for some. And 2 new games looking to obtain are Final Fantasy III and II. Amazon doesn't have an Retro Duos I could find for under $50 like I could the FC3 Plus, so if I choose that I'd need to find a different site to buy it from. Perhaps if I could find a Top Loader for a reasonable Price, but I'm on my 3rd Front Loader already. |

They work fine with regular cleaning. Don't ever use a Game Genie in yours if you want it to last. Top loader NES units (aka Toasters) never come cheap, and they only have coaxial out unless they're modded. |

And im gathering courage to make them region free so i don't want to put them togheter before that. |

I checked some more YouTube reviews, and the Duo can play RPG. I don't think the Duckhunt Zapper can work on either of my current TVs anyway. Even the non FlatScreen is pretty modern. And I haven't tried recently cause all my past Zapper are lost. |

No guarantees about any clone systems, though, they usually don't try to emulate lightguns. |

The FC3 Plus comes with a Zapper, but it's not compatible with the originals. It's not compatible with any original Remotes. most Twin systems the problem is the Controller slots are SNES based with no optional NES slots. Allot of the problem would be fixed if they'd take my advice and make their Consoles bigger. |

Maybe like half my SNES problems are really the Remotes, and I can get new remote son Amazon cheap easy. But I hate that sometimes my Save files randomly disappear. |

They're probably not even remotely legit, though. Many Asian manufacturers have no qualms with copyright violation. |
