I just started posting again and decided to start a new topic. Personally my favourite system is the SNES; partly due to nostalgia, but then again there's so many games that I just simply love on there. I mean there's Super Metroid, Zelda, Megaman X, Parodius and it has, in my opinion, the most comfortable controller design of all time. |

That ungrabbable flat thing? Anyway, my favorite system is the DS, mostly because it's the one I own. But the SNES is pretty good too. On a second tier could be the Game Boy series and the PlayStation (the first one, yes). |

It's like the nostalgia box for me. Have you ever held an SNES controller...? Last edited by Marilink; 08-18-2011 at 08:24 AM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

That said, I don't know I could ever choose a favourite console. I like games, not consoles. Having a favourite console seems about equivalent to having a favourite brand of microwave. |

It was nice and simple, and small. My favorite system would probably be the SNES, due to its lineup of games. Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Super Metroid, Star Fox, F-Zero, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2, Donkey Kong Country 3, Kirby Super Star, Super Mario RPG, Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Super Mario All-Stars, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VI, Chrono Trigger, EarthBound, SimCity, Street Fighter II, Breath of Fire, Breath of Fire 2, ActRaiser, Mortal Kombat, Mortal Kombat 2, Mortal Kombat 3, Tetris Attack, Lufia, Lufia II, E.V.O.: Search for Eden, Shadowrun, Secret of Evermore, Super Castlevania IV... did I miss anything? |

It was fun in principle, but you know the controls were a disaster. I once had some kind of bird with the jaws of a tyrannosaurus. Also, the nightmarish cloud maze part was horrible. But anyway, back on topic, the SNES rules. Right! You missed Civilization. |

But the controls weren't that bad. WATCH MY LP. |

But I've never had any problem with the SNES. Hell, the 360 controller is like an SNES controller with control sticks. |

My gamecube broke so I smashed it with a baseball bat. I figured it was the only sendoff I could give considering it went through so much before its inevitable end... My favorite however, has probably gotta be N64 because that was my system when I was a kid. I mean, I played NES and SNES but I never had one till after the 64 came out. One of these things is not like the others. |
