Seen or heard about any new projects to watch? Played any good detours in fakebrew games imitating a style? I think the tip top pseudo-retro games I've played are still by the usual AAA publishers - Mega Man 9 and Castlevania Legends are top material. I've also played some pretty impressive hacks of Super Metroid and Metroid, though, although those aren't straight up homebrew. If you talk about any game, and you've got a link, don't hesitate to share it! And if there's one system you could make games for or see more games released for, what would it be? Should it be groundbreaking stuff or are you cool with more SNAKE clones? I think D-Pad Hero, of all things, might be the most reposted actual homebrew I've ever heard of. I don't know whether or not the Cease-and-Desist for the first D-Pad Hero went through, but the second game's got way more effective color coding and space management, anyway! ![]() Swing on by their site if you want to grab the ROM and try it out: http://dpadhero.com Last edited by Cosmonautical; 11-11-2011 at 09:58 AM. | ||
