This has been bugging me for some time now, and I really, really want to find a solid answer to it. In FF6 (or 3 for those who don't recognize it) What kind of legs to the Magitek Armor units have? And I'm not talking about the dragon-like ones from the computer generated FMV, I'm talking about the in-game sprited ones. Are they normal jointed legs like us, or are they reverse jointed like a chicken? Or is it something else altogether? I've spent hours examining all the sprites from the game and even what little fan art exists for the M-tek's, but still the legs are a mystery to me. |

| I'm siding with Wy on this one. The way the 'feet' are "attached" seems to lend to the legs being reverse-jointed. ![]() | |

And yes, Magitek Armors are the best machines in ANY game excluding maybe some of the Metroid ones. |

I've been working on this for a few days now, and am quite pleased with the results. Here are a couple shots of my project. ![]() ![]() |

Wyborn, and anyone else interested, might want to check this out: http://www.secondlife.com Second Life is the "game" from which my above photos were taken. In SL you can do anything you want - and I mean anything. I spend most of my time in-game building things from other games. I've made several Arwings (mostly from the cancled Starfox 2), at least four complete airships from Skies of Arcadia, and scores of nintendo character costumes. The game is truly unique and addictive as all hell Oh, and it's free. |

And a massive chat room. And a first person shooter. And an RPG. And a flight simulator. And a.... Well, it's everything. It is what you make it out to be. If you want to dog fight in the skies with other people, find a vehicle and take off. If you want to duke it out in a pit fight with some mean lookin' fellows, mosey on over to a fight club and break a chair over someone's back. Can't find a vehicle that you like? Then build it yourself. Make it fly with the built in scripting language. The world of Second Life is 99% player created content, and above all, limitless. But I digress. This topic is beginning to shift away from its context. As far as I'm concerned, it's fulfilled its purpose. Though if you want to see more pictures of my M-Tek, I'll be happy to post them. Otherwise, this discussion might be better suited for the PC forum. |
