Old game... anyone know what its called? - VGF

Hi, I am new here so bear with me please! I am searching for a game title, I have looked through tons of info out there and a few flea markets, nothing I thought it was for the NES But am now thinking it may have been the SNES, It is a game kind of a RPG, only more animated. You start out as a small critter, then after a while you evolve into a fish, then upgrades like bigger teeth, different fins for speed, then after that you can upgrade to a lizzard and so on the goal is to evolve into a human I believe. It has been about 15 years since I have played it, but want to find a copy but with out the title I am lost, I hope someone can help me out here!! thanks in advance!! JePH

I'm pretty sure it's EVO - The Search for Eden. Fun game.
