Chrono Trigger, or Super Mario RPG, and why? - Page 3

SMRPG was pretty good, chrono trigger was good (i don't own it, but i've played it quite a few times) but i think its overrated.

Chrono Trigger was the best game ever made, but I wouldn't argue with someone who likes Mario RPG better because they are both awesome games. I'm looking forward to Mario and Luigi also, how about you guys?

Chrono Trigger

CT was flawless.
SMRPG din't have Luigi.

That and CT was harder then SMRPG since SMRPG once you get super jump you can kill anything in one shot if your good enoght, and well it was just easier so those that like easy rpgs will vote SMRPG and those that like hard ones(me) will vote CT.

And it's not like it would have been hard to put in Luigi just give the player the choice at the start or add him later as a carecter you can replace mario with and for stats it woud have been easy just do like in smash bros. althought i always thought it was like this make him faster and do more damge with his jumps wile marios does more damage with weapons and fireball.

Mario RPG,Chrono Trigger was too hard for me..and the fact that Bowser joins you in Mario RPG,well...The bad guy joins you in chrono trigger as well....But here's what I think.

GRAPHICS
Mario RPG-It looks almost 3-D,CT has good graphics,but almost 3-D beats 2-D anyday.

STORYLINE
CT-Yes,I would have to admit that CT has a slightly better storyline because Mario RPG just starts the regular way,then it gets wacky..

GAMEPLAY
Meh,both have good gameplay...

SOUND/MUSIC
Mario RPG-I admit that Mario rpg has slightly better sound and music,even though the battle music sounds annoying,CT's is more annoying..
