I played it once. It was the best five minutes ever. After, I edited the Wikipedia article with the truth: that it was the greatest game ever, but they got rid of it. Stupid Wikipedia doesn't know its games.

Personally, I think they should put all 3 mother games on there. (Though Mother 3 may take some work)

Another thing that some people would appreciate would be translations of the Fire Emblem games.
I could see the first two earthbound games...but the third one would have to be a definite no since the GBA isn't even out for the virtual console.

They shouldn't have limited their online releases to older system formats, really. GBA games wouldn't work on the Wii just because the resolution isn't NTSC-formatted. They would have to scale-up the screen, or frame it ala Super Gameboy.

Still, they could do anything like that if they felt like it - it would just take a Wii update. It's a lot of work just for one game Nintendo didn't want to release stateside, though. Especially when selling GBA games on the Wii might be cutting into the DS market.

^^Actually you just came up with a good idea. I can't see GBA games going into the virtual console but the old gameboy and gameboy color games would definitely make it as long as they put up a firmware update.

Besides, with Lucas in SSBB, Mother 3 is probably going to appear.

Megaman Soccer if it isn't already on. NBA Jam circa 1995 would also be dope.

The Guardian Legend for the NES.

You play as a heroine who runs around Legend of Zelda style overworlds with a gun. Until you come across one of the flying levels, in which case she morphs Transformers style into a space jet.

I remember diggin' this game. A lot.

I never really liked Earthworm Jim. It probably doesn't help that I played it on the Genesis, since the system had undeniably lower quality sound hardware as well as a quarter of the on-screen colors of the SNES. I never really thought it was all that funny, regardless of the system's quality.

Yeah, original GB and GBC games would be a welcome addition to the library, especially since the first GB's games are so hard to find in stores.

But that has its own name: Banjo-Tooie.

And on that note, I need the Banjo series on VC. Now. And don't tell me I'm dreaming, because Rare execs said in a relatively recent interview that it would be up to Nintendo.
