The worst Video game ever: ET for the Atari

The unsold Copies were destroyed!!! yaaaaay!

developed in like 6 weeks
Bad game
Difficulty

Overall: I wasted 10 minutes of my time playing this game. This game is the worst game of Eternity. Even worse than Final Fantasy legend. I saw some pawn shop selling this for a quarter! Whatever you do, do NOT go anywhere NEAR this game! -infinity/10

Actually, the unsold copies were dumped in a landfill in the southwest USA.
So if you're a masochist with a shovel, you can go dig up an intact copy of that game and play it.

So what exactly IS the gameplay? Is it like the GBA ET game?

^Apparantly, you have to follow this arrow but its direction changes every 2 picoseconds. I only had the displeasure of playing it for 10 minutes. I turned it off and my mom said that when I play a new video game, I turn it off a few hours after I begin. I told her to play it and she said "Oh my God this game is bad! Oh my god I can't believe we wasted money on this." So then, she threw it out. And about that Landfill thing, I hear they're either decomposed by now or they're buried deep in the compost. Also, I hear someone found a bunch of them in that landfill and tried to auction them off eBay 5-6 years ago. As I recall, no one would spend a dime on it. Those Creators were obviously drunk or high on Pot while creating this game.

^Hell yeah they wouldn't buy it! That's because this game has been treated worse than it really is by people like you. I never played the game, but I read a lot of reviews and descriptions of it and it seems to be put down more than it ought to be. Has anyone seen that Smurfs game for Colecovision? Why isn't that one treated so badly? Most people have never heard of it. And there are hundreds---HUNDREDS--- of worse games on the atari. The only reason this one is put down so bad is because it's a bad game based on an excellent movie.

lol on G4 i saw a commercial with the creator of ET. he also said he made another game that was popular, but i forget what it is. i'll have to watch it again(they repeat the same commercials all the time so it won't be long before i see it)
