Okay, this was one of Best Buy's top selling PS2 games at the end of 2002, so ya wanna know whether it deserved its position on top selling games? Well read this review to find out:

Graphics: The Cutscenes are really cool. They are literally animated! as for the game graphics, you can see alot of stuff like the characters whiskers. Sure they don't have the Fur effects on Dinosaur planet, but hey, they're still good. 10/10

Gameplay: Well, they are very similar to Ratchet and Clank. X button is jump, Square is attack. But O lets you perform super moves. Can take some time to catch on if you know what you're doing. 8/10

Sound: It has voices, and like all PS2 voices, they are done pretty clearly. Also, the sound is pretty cool. Sly goes like "OUCH!" when he gets hit by enemies. The Music falls into the "Mysterious Mystery" category. 10/10

Lastability: The game has around 5 levels, but it takes a really long time just to beat them. But thank god for save points. You don't really have a choice when it comes to saving, the game is a saving fiend for you, so you can't go around saying "I'm the Saving fiend for Sly cooper!". Also, all the bosses (Except panda king) have multiple forms. It also takes alot of time to get 100% in the game. 5/10

Difficulty: If you take one hit, you die instantly unless you have a lucky charm. Dang! Also, near the final boss, you need around 50 lucky charms. Another thing: Don't even Try Mz. Ruby. She is just plain HARD! It's mainly a rythym game and it could take a million tries just to get past the first rythym part! Arrgh! it took 56 tries and a week to beat her, and don't even get me talkin' about her stage as well. 1/10

Overall: A game that does need some improvements, but the ending is worth the time it takes to beat the game. The outtakes are really nice too. LOL! this really does deserve to be on Best Buy's top ten PS2 game list!

I haven't played the game, but Sucker Punch did an astounding job with the N64 game, Rocket: Robot on Wheels. They probably did a good job here too.
