And another Final Fantasy Tactics game, Final Fantasy Tactics advance, is being planned for the GBA. Graphics: The characters look pretty good, but the backrounds look a little on the fake side. Hey, you can't really expect them all to be FF8 good, can ya? 9/10 Sound: Love the Dorter Trade city music! Nice! All of the other musics are pretty good too, especially the Zodiac themes. 10/10 Difficulty: This is what killed it. This game is very very hard, it's even harder than FF8. You have trouble in Dorter Trade city, those stupid wizards. I don't even want to get started on how hard Velius was. 2/10 (This because it is way too hard) Control: Oh, nothing out of the ordinary. Just use the O button to confirm, and the X button to cancel, the D pad over to the left to move, and the triangle button to bring up the start menu. It's not too hard to master. 10/10 Lastability: The game lasts a very long time. The regular encounters are very hard until you get Orlandu. It also takes a really long time to beat Riovines castle. Good and long, that's what people like about Final Fantasies. 9/10 Overall: No wonder this is in the Greatest Hits category! This game Rocks! The only thing bad about it is the difficulty. I believe this was the one that made them strategy RPG's popular, and this one deserves to be under the name of Final Fantasy. You can buy it for only 15 dollars now, so get it! 8/10 |

| Guest Posts: n/a | some of the story battles are kind of hard(velius, elmdoor and, the mechanic at the end, whose name i can't remember right this second) but all it takes is to level up. Orlandu does make it extremely easy) and i'll agree dorter was hard when i first started playing. if you can't beat a level after a few times, stop trying and level up your characters a couple times oh and keeping only 5 characters makes leveling them up much easier. | Guest Posts: n/a | get rid of gafgarion for the execution site, then its pretty easy. All you have to to do is stun him with mustadio. So don't save mustadio. Then you don't have to worry if he dies. You get him no matter which you choose. [ February 27, 2003, 12:04 PM: Message edited by: Marth ] |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Zak, Pick "Don't Want to get involved" at that place. Here is my strategy for Gorgorland Execution site: Party: Ramza (Knight) Agrais (Holy Knight) Mustadio (Engineer) Lancer x2 You should be around level 20-23 before attempting. This makes killing Gafgarion so much easier. Have Mustadio use Arm aim on him so he won't do that stupid Night sword. Then have Agrais use Holy explosion. If he still has HP left from that blast, then have your lancers attack him. (One of them did 82 damage to him) then he'll run away like a coward. After that, Kill the Time mages and knight up high, then have Mustadio go up high and shoot everybody with his gun. Make sure the knights don't go up to attack Mustadio, since he can be taken out rather quickly. If you can, break the Archer's bows. This makes the battle easier. If you haven't been doing that, then DO IT!! |
