| Guest Posts: n/a | Magi nation is by far one of the best GBC games of all time, It hardly sold anything because no one knew the company nor did they know what the game was. Graphics:8/10 The Graphics are pretty sweet for the GBC. Not only are the creatures you summon pretty detailed, same with the portraits. Sound: 7/10 I'd give sound an 8 because the music rocks, but the music is just a step above the NES stuff, though they do have some good attacking noises that's basically just 1 noise repeated over and over again. Controls: 9/10 This is actually the first game I played where you don't even need a special Item to run or jump. Sure you need the agadon's boots if you want to jump far, but still it's alot better than having to take the long ways a million times in Vash Naroom. Difficulty: 2/10 Okay, I'll probably get flamed for this, but the game is too hard. Hard as 7th saga? No, but almost there. Not only does it take energy to summon a dream creature, but the dream creature has energy too and it takes energy to attack or do stuff. Also, Togoth, the first boss, is pretty hard if you don't have any Leaf Chogos or Wasperines. Getting the rings can be pretty hard to get too, because you need Animite to get them and with Hyrens, you're lucky if they just drop 1 animite. Replay value: 5/10 Yeah yeah yeah, basically you can just do the Secret start and do the game over again at your previous level and stats and dream creatures, you even get to acess the Core ringsmith, sounds pretty nice but it'd be too easy because you don't have to level up. Overall: 8.4/10 This game is pretty good, and the 1 bad thing about this game is that it's been released on a dying system, and now, it's about to find as Tactics Ogre: The Knight of lodis |
