Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles were very popular in the 80's and 90's. So if a show is popular, then it should have at least 1 or 2 games based on it shouldn't it? Well, considering the previous games based on shows or movies, this game probably wouldn't be too good either, sure the Arcade games were great, but this game is a very crappy rip off of an arcade game. What you do in the game is basically just run through the long levels to save April, who is doomed. The graphics are like kindergartener drawings of the TMNT, not only do the characters look like stick figures with shells (Except for those cutscenes where it shows cartoon-like pictures of them, those ones are the only pictures that are actually good. The sound's even worse. Not only do cars Screech (Unless they are slamming on the breaks, then they don't do that) But enemies make that sound too, and the most pathetic thing about the game is that the weapons don't even make the proper noises for weapons, The Tantos (Long knife) DOINK even on REGULAR enemies. How can a Sword DOINK? The Control's pretty bad. It may be basic stuff like B button "doinks" enemies to death and A button jumps, but they move 1 mm per hour, a.k.a, very slow. It's too easy, not only can you PICK your levels (Gee, why don't I start in Bowser's castle? It's not like Peach's in a different castle or anything) but you can just start at level 5 and just beat the game faster than you can say "Probability". The pathetic features this game offers makes it alot better for you to rent it instead of buying it, or you can smash it after buying it. Just a waste of time if you ask me. 0/10 |
