| Guest Posts: n/a | Final Fantasy 4 (Or Final Fantasy 2 outside of Japan) is indeed one of the greatest games of all time. Though even I've got to admit, it certainly puts Breath of Fire 2 to shame (And especially the highly-overrated-and-super-crappy Shining force. Even McKids can kick the crap out of Shining Force) and it's as good as CT is. (And while we're on the topic of Chrono, do NOT under ANY circumstances, get CC) The graphics are alot more sweeter than the NES ones. And they are definatly 100x more sweeter than Uncharted Waters's graphics (Which is basically just 8 bit graphics with a few more colours splashed on). I really like the way Kain looks, as well as Zeromus. The music is at an all time high. My personal favorite is the final battle music. (I'm listening to it as I post this!) Sure, I'll admit that The Extreme, One Winged Angel, and The Dark Messenger are pretty good, but this one is by far the best on the SNES. (Side note: Dancing Mad and The Fierce Battle are really good too) The difficutly, however, is at an all time low. Not only is it really hard at the beginning, but if you don't run from battles, then it'll be next to impossible (And because I didn't run from battles after being visciously obliterated by warmech countless times in FF1, that resulted in my characters being around level 60-70.) Sure I thought it was easy because I was at a very high level, but for alot of you, it's very very hard, but that's probably why they added the 5th party member. Which I think is the greatest new features an RPG introduces of all time. Screw the Job system, the Djinni, the Rare Candies, and the Battle system of FF8 (Especially that. I LOATHED it beyond all forms of hatred or loatheness), they should put that in more FF's than This one and FFT (in FFTA, you have 6, and in KoL, you have 8. Count 'em, 8.) The replay value...Are you kidding? Of COURSE you are gonna want to replay it if you beat it! Overall, this came truly is gold. Sure the difficulty leaves much much much MUCH to be desired, but if you're that kind of person who does not want to be stuck at one boss, then don't run from much battles. 9.56/10 (P.S, the game would be alot better if they didn't have Edward, or they killed him instead of Palam and Porum. Edward is too spoony to live, and all bards are too Spoony to get the job done right, take my word for it) Awards: Golden Game Orff quality music Tolkien quality Storyline Also, I just realized that you can call this topic the topic of the ( and )'s, because I seem to use those alot...O_o |

| Guest Posts: n/a | What Douglas meant is that you are gonna want to replay it after you beat it, though I'd need quite alot of patience to play it again because of that Bastard named Zeromus. |
