Botkai seems pretty ingenious when you hear about the fact that it relies on the sun to get your solar boy meter to charge. Pretty ingenious huh? Yep. Though I'm sure that those people on Gamefaqs who are giving this game good scores either a) have taken lots and lots of Asprin and b) live in a place where its sunny all the time. I had realized not long after playing it that I have bought a nightmare and a splitting headache (I played it like 6 hours ago and my head still hurts! And I took Asprin too!) Ugh, just let me tell you what I went through.

Before I tell you my Nightmarish encounter with Botkai, The graphics, sound, and almost everything else about this game is pretty good-they did a good job on it but what I went through with the solar power was enough to make me LOATHE this game.

Well, we had to drive about 30-maybe 40 miles down to my mother's house in The City (Mom's not divorced. She's just going to Research school down there) and I figured that because I had no chance to try out my new game (Which I payed nearly 40 bucks-Like almost 2 months allowance-for the previous day. Dammit Wal-Mart! , and oh yeah, they were selling .Hack//Outbreak for 65 freakin dollars!! >:0 ) because one thing led to another and I didn't got to play it (And the fact that it was night). So while we were driving, I popped the game in, and then started to play it. I couldn't get my solar metre too move, and I realized that the window was interfering, so I opened the window and shut it fast. It was like 52 degrees out (And like 9 AM) so I had to shut my Game off and wait until we reached The City. About like 2-3 hours (And about 87 pages into The Slippery Slope , 1 Zits Treasury, 1 Hash Brown, 1 sausage and cheese sandwich, 1 coke, and 1 Magazine) later, we finally reached the house. I start playing it again but realize that I was stupidly sitting in the shade, so I had to move out to the sun. Now I'm getting some fresh air, but then I start to sweat. So I take my shirt off (Big mistake, not because of Teenage Girls, but because it was 85 degrees out, sunny, and I wasn't wearing any sunscreen) I sit there for like about an hour and a breeze with a slight (About 35 degrees) chill blows by and makes me shiver. Then it reaches about 89 degrees and then I accidentially use up all of my solar power in the dungeon before I reached a big battle. Then about 45 minutes later, we get a very light cloud cover and it covers the sun up and that damn meter wouldn't budge. I was extremley pissed and decided to go back to the yardwork-And then I realized that because I sat out there playing it for about an hour and 45 minutes-I had sunburn near the top of my back. Then we had to go get some Aloe Vera and then my shirt sticks to my skin while doing the 4 or 5 hours of yardwork (You try digging Crab Grass out in soil that's hard as a rock) and I'm sweating like a pig. Then I decide to stop for lunch and because mom wasn't very hungry, I ate a Lean Cuisine (Chicken in Peanut Sauce. It's quite good actually.) and then found that the cloud cover was gone. Then I decide to play it some more, and then I get an AWFUL glare on the GBA screen and I get a headache from that and not being able to see what the hell was going on-Thus resulting in me dying. I switched it off and felt like Hurling that awful game into the dumpster with all of the stuff we threw in there. Overall, Do not get this game unless it's always sunny and if you have sunscreen and a possible glare-proof GBA screen and a bottle of Asprin handy-If you plan on playing this game, you'll really really really need it.-5.56/10
