| Guest Posts: n/a | Mmmm Prince of Persia. One of the best platformer series ever, if not the hardest. Unlike some series, Prince of Persia has made a very decent jump to 3D (Unlike that terrible Castlevania 64 game-Do NOT play it under ANY circumstances). Prince of Persia the Sands of Time is the best one in the series, and is simply the best game on all 3 systems (Well 4 if you include the GBA). The graphics here are stunning-I There's almost no difference between the Cutscenes and the regular graphics-Everything is detailed, Farah, The Prince (Haven't they even BOTHERED to give our Prince a name?), The backgrounds, and the Sand creatures. The control is perfectly executed, almost all of the Prince's Acrobatic moves are easy to execute, they don't involve you hitting every single button at once, though sometimes you might accidentially hit the wrong button and fall to your death-But we can reverse time and know not to do that. Yes that's right-We can reverse time. This means that if you fall because you jumped too soon, you can just turn back time and do it again. The game is really hard-Almost all Prince of Persia games are. There's no way to cure health in battle except for reversing time (Or by drinking water if a fountain is near by). Sure-It's nice that you can freeze your enemies and then focus on another, but the combat can get extremeley annoying at parts-Facing up to 20 different sand-creatures at once, and if you don't stab them with the Dagger of time fast enough, then they come back to life, resulting in you having to defeat them-Again. If you're new to console gaming period, then don't start with this-You might find yourself resisting the urge to toss it out the window. (This is almost as hard as 7th Saga is) The Music is pretty much absent at times, and is one of the drawbacks-Everything seems kind of quiet (That might just be my TV though, but it doesn't do that with any of my other games) though the enemies' loud grunting noises when you stab them with the Dagger of Time seem kind of loud. Yeah, there's almost no music but the sound is pretty well executed. Overall, Prince of PErsia the Sands of Time is one of the best games of all time with a very great storyline, graphics, and with somewhat easy to ignore drawbacks such as fighting 20-30 sand creatures at once and having to everything at the exact right second or else you miss and die, it is still one of the hardest games out there, and I highly reccomend if if you like the Prince of Persia series, or if you're up to a Challenge. 9.35/10 Awards: Great graphics Tolkien quality storyline [ December 14, 2003, 12:43 AM: Message edited by: Douglas of the Red Atlamilla ] |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Your the first to call it hard. The few reviews i read, plus joker's topic all said it was easy. *shrug* I'm most likely getting this game since i asked for it for christmas. |

| Guest Posts: n/a | What's hard is fighting about 20-30 sand creatures at the same time. Those Sand creatures with the Double Halebards are annoying as hell. Same with those heavily Armored ones. |
