| Guest Posts: n/a | Here we'll post what we'll put in our Top ten lists. Do keep in mind you can't flame anyone. You can make your own top ten or can use something that someone has already posted (I'm sure everyone's gonna use Top ten Greatest games of all time). Examples of some categories you can use are "Top ten biggest disappointements" or "Top ten greatest Gameboy Color games". You don't have to post all of them in one post. Top ten Greatest 2D RPGs: 1. Chrono Trigger 2. Final Fantasy 4 3. Pokemon Gold and Silver 4. Phantasy Star IV 5. Mario and Luigi Superstar saga 6. Link to the Past 7. Tactics Ogre 8. Tactics Ogre, the Knight of Lodis 9. Super Mario RPG 10. Magi Nation Top ten biggest disappointments: 1. Tomb Raider for N-Gage and for PS2. 2. Grabbed by the Ghoulies (How could rare DO such a thing?!) 3. The N-Gage in General (BOOOOO!!!) 4. Phantasy Star III (Why Sega? Why?) 5. Final Fantasy X (And people Idolize this game WHY?) 6. Final Fantasy 7 (You know, for being the "Greatest Game of all time"...) 7. Shining Force (The "Pioneer" should really be called the "Cryoneer" of RPGs. Fire Emblem came out before Shining force) 8. Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (The game is phenomenal-The cheap-as-hell-Final Boss and the very very very disappointing ending gets to me) 9. Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire (Gold, Silver, and Crystal make this game look like Trash) 10. Escape from Monkey Island (See? This is why you should have CONTINUED the Maniac Mansion series and made Zak McKraken a series instead of letting your best classics die) Top Ten Worst video game characters ever 1. Tidus 2. Cooper 3. Algus 4. Tidus 5. Yellow Monkey 6. Niccolo 7. Tingle 8. Tidus 9. Max 10. And did I mention Tidus? Top ten Coolest game characters 1. Riku (RRRRRRIIIIKKKKUUUU!!!!) 2. Lucca (LLLLLLUUUUCCCCAAAA!!!!) 3. Rictor (RRRRIIIIICCCCTTTOOOORRR!!!) 4. Sephiroth (SSSEEEEEPPPPPHHHHYYY!!!) 5. Magus (MMMMAAAAAGGGGGGUUUUUSSSS!!!!) 6. Fawful (FFFFAAAAAWWWWWWFFFFFUUUULLLL!!!) 7. Lans (LLLLAAAAAAANNNNSSSS!!!!!) 8. Ezel Berbier (EEEEEZZZZEEEEELLLL!!!!) 9. Auron (AAAAAUUUURRRROOOOONNN!!!!) 10. BlackRose (THIS SCREAMING IS GETTING ANNOYING!!!) | Guest Posts: n/a | ^I'm with you if you're talking about the GBC mario Tennis. I loved that game. It's one of the games that redefined my thoughts about gaming (Like Crystalis, Phantasy Star IV and Donkey kong country) |

| Guest Posts: n/a | I thought Gold, Silver, and Crystal were trash. I think I beat the Elite Four in Crystal twice, then never touched the game ever again. On the other hand, I've poured almost 300 hours in my Ruby. I loved Billy Hatcher. Anyways... The Ten Best Eternal Darkness Heroes 10. Roberto Bianchi (Nothing much to say about him other than I still liked him better than Anthony) 9. Peter Jacobs (Nerdy news reporter who fights giant being of darkness. Would be higher if he didn't look like Leonardo DiCaprio) 8. Edwin Lindsey (Indiana Jones knockoffs are always good) 7. Ellia (A butt kicking dancer) 6. Alexandra Roivas (She's the main character. She had to be on this list) 5. Paul Luther (Franciscian monk fights undead guy, monk wins, monk exorcises undead guy, monk gets to run around with undead guy's giant sword) 4. Maxamillian Roivas (He sure can fight for a fat guy) 3. Micheal Edwards (fun chapter) 2. Karim (Who doesn't like swordsmen?) 1. Edward Roivas (TEH FUNNAY! Fire Elephant Gun, watch Edward get blown onto butt because of lack of muscle. And he comes with something called "Liquid Courage" which is really booze) For those of you who don't know, there's only 11 heroes in the game, and Anthony sucked in my book. That centurion you always see in Eternal Darkness screens turns out to be the main villian of the game (oh, come on. You see if fifteen minutes into the game, and there's even a picture of it on the back of the case). ![]() Where are these lemmings going? The Super Nintendo Super Shire! | Senior Member Join Date: May 2001 Location: Place Posts: 2,657 Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts | *Ruins everything by picking a non-video game list* Top Ten Greatest Giant Monsters 10. Aku (He only gets a spot on this list because I could only think of so many cool ones. While his ability to shapeshift is kinda cool, Aku still just kinda sucks. I find it too hard to believe that Aku just can't nuke Samurai Jack to death. Idiot.) 9. Smaug (The Dragon in The Hobbit. Has a fun conversation with Bilbo near the end of the book, and then tries to destroy a city, at which he is killed by a guard.) 8. Dagon (H P Lovecraft creation, servant to Cthulhu, leader of the fish-like Deep Ones and some of the constantly shape-changing Shoggoths.) 7. Fin Fang Foom (I WILL CRUSH YOU LIKE A BUG FOR I AM FING FANG FOOM! YOU CAN WISH FOR NO MERCY! NO PITY! NOTHING BUT DOOM!) 6. The Dragon (I'm refering to the dragon in Terry Pratchett's Guards! Guards! In that book, a group of monarchists summon a dragon, the idea being, that the true heir to the throne of Ankh Morpork will come and kill it, which he does. Soon after, though, the dragon comes back, more powerful than ever, and he kills the heir to the throne and makes itself King. Then the Night Watch has to stop it. Great book.) 5. Dark Falz/Force (See? This list does have something to do with video games! Anyway, Dark Force is a lot like most final bosses in RPGs, but he still kicked ass, and, uh, geez, I have nothing say.) 4. Moby **** (The reason people want to save the whales is because of the ones like these. We LIKE whales that kill people. We want as many on this Earth as possible. SAVE THE PEOPLE KILLING WHALES!) 3.King Kong (I giant ape that kills dinosaurs and falls in love with girls 5 times smaller than he is? Neato.) 2.Cthulhu (Oh with reluctance do I put this guy in the #2 slot, but #1 probably deserves it more.) 1. Godzilla (See, this guy shaped the way we think about giant monsters. My personal favorites is Godzilla vs Megaguiras. I haven't seen the much loved first movie or the equally respected Godzilla vs Destroyah, so I can't say much on those, unfortunetely. He also has some bizarre moves he uses against monsters. MST3K fans will probably remember his drop kick, and in Godzilla vs the Smog Monster, he uses his fire breath to lift up like a rocket, and then impales the smog monster with his spike covered back.) -A Genius (I think I'll review a Godzilla movie soon.) |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Top ten games that desperatley deserve a sequel (Possible Spoilers): 10. Chrono Trigger (And I mean a DECENT Sequel WORTH being put in the Greatest hits category) 9. Magi Nation (So what happened after Fone-I mean Tony Jones left Magi Nation?) 8. Freedom Force-PC (What basically happens to Freedom Force after the *Rather Short* ending) 7. Prince of Persia: The Sands of time (What if the Sands of time got out elsewhere?! )6. Tactics Ogre: Let us Cling together (Though there are 8 possible endings...That'd be pretty tricky. It's also chapter VII I believe) 5. StarTropics (Zoda tries once again to get revenge-ON MIKE'S CHILDREN!! >=D) 4. Day of the Tentacle (It's not like Day of the Tentacle is the sequal to Maniac Mansion, the game that made LucasArts POPULAR...) 3. Phantasy Star IV (Sega might be able to find a way to continue the series...can they?) 2. Loom (The ending leaves off where a sequal can start) 1. Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders (Probably the most neglected game of all time-Seeing as only Zak and I have played it...) Top ten games that do not deserve a Sequal 10. Drake of the 99 Dragons (NO!!) 9. Grabbed by the Ghoulies (Though I highly doubt Rare hates us THAT much ) 8. Mario is Missing (I shudder at the thought) 7. Xenosaga (Let the pain continue no longer) 6. Golden Sun 2 (The events pretty much wrapped it up perfectly-A sequal can't really come into play after what happened at the end) 5. Escape from Monkey Island (Please...No...More....Crap...) 4. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (Unless they plan on making it good like the GBC versions) 3. Final Fantasy VII (How the hell can you continue something that said "500 years later", make it a crappy movie, make Cloud and "Sephiroth" look like girls, and expect people to accept it as a sequal and not a desperate plea for money?) 2. Tomb Raider (They can at least not make Lara Croft's chest and her rump be the most detailed part of the game.) 1. Final Fantasy X (The original Final Fantasy X ending was already happy enough as it is-You gotta spoil it all and make it a bad ending with Yuna and Rikku's quest for Clothes.) |
