Why is this guy bashing FFXI and liking EverQuest?

Because he, like alot of others on gamefaqs is an idiot. He's comparing it to everquest in almost every single sentence. Comparing it to another game that's NOT in the series is a reviews no-no in my bookm and just because it is good does not mean it was a rip-off of everquest or some other game you really love. Just ignore idiots like that.

You do realize I compared Shining Force to Fire Emblem a lot in my Shining Force review, right? You do realize they're not in the same series, right? You do realize I felt Shining Force was a ripoff of Fire Emblem, right? You do realize you're calling me an idiot, right?

I mean, not liking a game because you've played a vastly superior version of it and the inferior one just seems all the worse is okay in my book.

I've never played either game, and I don't want to read that review. I'm not commenting on the actual subject.

That probably came out the wrong way. I'm not calling you an idiot CK. What that person does is say "this is not an MMORPG" even though it is. Fire Emblem is a strategy game, and so is shining Force. CK, in your review for Shining Force, you stated quite some good reasons for liking Fire Emblem and not liking Shining Force. Some people on Gamefaqs state bad reasons for liking one game and hating another. I'm sorry I said it the wrong way, and I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
