Well, I guess its time for another review. Since I am a Sonic Lover, Sonic CD is a good game to grab.

Graphics: Sonic 1-like graphics. It can be awfully pretty or pretty dark depends if you went to good future or bad future. Since this is appropriate for its time. (1992, I believe) It's pretty decent for graphics.
7/10

Sound: Well, basically the music format is mp3. So its "high quality" music. The music is different from the US and Japanese versions. So, they both have their ups and downs. I like the US version better though. The sounds are good ol' Sonic sounds from the past. Nothing new, really.
8/10

Gameplay: Classical Sonic gameplay. It isn't pretty suprising, really. Nothing new. Except they added 2 kinds of spindashes. Sonic 1 gameplay basically.
6/10

The Bosses: Ok. They seem to be much more tougher than the Sonic 1 bosses. Especially the last boss. (which you have to get hit in order to beat him) It may give you trouble if you are new to Sonic games. (I think this is referred for Pros, but thats my opinion)
8/10

Special Stages: It can't be a Sonic game without the traditional special stages. The special stages in Sonic CD lets you to destroy strange purple UFOs.. And you get a emerald once your done. Its quite hard, actually. But you might be able to handle it.
9/10

Pros:
A Sonic game.
Metal Sonic's first appearance
Spindash

Cons:
Same controls. Same Sonic.
Same graphics. Same Sonic.
The Final Boss is impossible to beat without rings.

Overall: Its another Sonic game. But its more like a "expansion pack" to Sonic 1. You may or may not be disappointed by Sonic CD. But its just plain fun. Grab it and take it for a spin. Fun game.
8/10
