| Guest Posts: n/a | Well, I've decided I"m going to start making some reviews again. I have the time, I was just too lazy before. My first is going to be on a game I bought a few weeks ago. Soul Calibur 2. Graphics 9/10: I love the graphics for this game. Some of the best I've seen for a fighting game. Everything, from the splashes when you fall off the edge of the level, to the details on the characters. I also love the detailing of the levels. Gameplay: 8/10: Gameplay on this game is pretty good. I like the new dungeons they put on the game, however they seem to get repetitive. I also like the ability to but/pick new weapons. That was a nice fresh idea. I also like the extension of characters. Putting Link in there was a good idea. I haven't played the PS2 or XBOX versions though. Controls: 10/10: This is for the Gamecube version> Nice standard controls, not much to say here. Music: 9/10: I haven't payed that much attention to the music, (I usually have CD's playing) but the few times I haven't played with CD's, the music seems standard. Replay Value 6/10: This is what I didn't like about the game. This is just what I'm feeling, I'm not sure how other people would feel about it, but the first few days I got it, I wanted to play it a lot. After about a week though, I really got tired of the game. And it's not like I was playing it that much over that week. (maybe a half hour a day if that) Pros: Great Graphics New Weapons, Charcaters Nice Controls Cons: Might get boring fast depending on who you are. Overall: 9/10. Great Game, the replay is a little bad IMO, but it's definantly worth a buy. [ January 17, 2004, 10:22 PM: Message edited by: Brandon2390 ] |

| Guest Posts: n/a | Coming from someone who loves complex combo systems like that of KI, I'm definitely of a biased opinion. The game is fun, but the simplicity of everything turns your brain to mush after a few hours play. I'd also like to add that the narrator's voice was the worst thing in the goddamn world.
