This is personaly my favorite horror game. If you want to know why,read on.

The graphics in this game are pretty good,and suit the game's dark mood. Though,some of the ghosts don't look too great,it makes up for the detail of a hanging kimono. The graphics are real eye candy for those who like darker,scarier games.

The plot is alright,but nothing special. Twin sisters Mio and Mayu Amakura are visiting this area which is to be torn down soon. Mio remembers an accident involving Mayu injuring her leg,and starts to apologyze,when she sees Mayu following a crimson butterfly into a villiage that dissapeared during a dark ritual. The point of the game? Escape from the villiage. Sound easy? Nope. Armed only with a flashlight and the Camera Obscura,an old camera which takes pictures of things unseen,you have to exorsize ghosts. Some are required to exorsize,some aren't.

The sound is this game's pride. Even opening a door sounds like opening a door in real life. If you're walking on leaves,you can hear the crunching. You can even hear Mio's heartbeat when a ghost is around.

All in all,this is a good game.
Buy or Rent? I'd say buy,even if you don't like horror games.

A new way to capture ghosts. (( If all it takes to catch ghosts is a camera,how come Ghost Busters needed all of that high tech equipment? ))

Weak plot.
Not much character development. (( Who were the twin's parents? How old are they? ))
Ghost battles may get repetitive.
