Mine is the AK-47 Which weapon is your favorite?
It can be from any GTA game.

That depends. The submachine gun is probably the most handy- it can be fired while running, it's moderately powerful, it can be fired from a vehicle, you can run while firing it- all in all, the gun to take if you can only choose one.

My personal favorite, though, is the shotgun. Preferably the one from GTA3, or that one in VC that fires more than three pellets (The semi automatic shotgun is fun too).

Why? Well, for one thing, the shotgun- at close range- is the most effective gun in GTA3 (at least while dealing with a single opponent). But it's more than that. It's fun. PD, Goldeneye, Halo... You name it, I prefer shotguns. Morbid as it may sound, I find killing enemies via shotgun blast deeply satisfying.
