Apparently there's gonna be a new feature where you can play a minigame as this blocky dude. He kinda looks like the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

There's also some new Ninja magic for Edge, and one of the first new story scenes which involves...

Just....amazing....

I think I might have a new favorite Final Fantasy....and I might prefer the new translation to the old!

And it's coming out in just a week and a half! Any news about a stateside release?

I do have one complaint though....

What the hell is this?????????

Please tell me this is just some sidequest that's completely boring and stupid and lame and doesn't get you anything powerful. This....doesn't have anything to do with the plot, does it? -CSM

That last FMV there? I think my eyes caught fire. They actually translated how bad-ass Kain should be.

Interesting note: Kain is actually voiced by the Japanese VA for Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop. Palom and Porom? The Japanese VA for Alphonse Elric.

Unfortunately no, not to my knowledge.

It'd be pretty killer if Kain was voiced by Blum, though.

Kain needs to have a British accent. That's how I envision him. And Cecil needs to have the accent of Russel Crowe's character in Gladiator. I think Blum can do a good job though. -CSM

Kain is a member of the league of people who can kick your ass, along with Shadow, Vincent (who I personally don't like, but still), Auron, and Balthier. -CSM

Mentioning Vincent in the same breath as Kain is a travesty; Kain is the second best character in the entire series. Vincent is a chump.

The only beef I have with Vincent is this:

1. His attack power is middling
2. There are characters with better Limit Breaks than him.

It's not so much Vincent sucks (he probably doesn't), it's more that there are characters out there that are more useful. -CSM
