i have heard rumors that there will be a new kingdom hearts game for the wii. is that true?

From what I remember, nothing has been said so far. It's probably unlikely. A third title would probably be on the PS3.

There is always that one DS spin-off, though that may be Japan-only.

I never heard of this rumor. Still, that doesn't mean it won't happen.

I think the next main game will be for the PS3, and the spinoffs will stick on the DS. -CSM

Actually CSM, there's no announcement for a kingdom hearts game for the PS3. The next confirmed three kingdom hearts games are to be released on the DS, PSP, and Samsung Mobile Phones. The games for the DS and the PSP aren't supposed to be simple spinoffs either but provide explanation and help to the story just like the GBA version did.

No word has gotten around for a kingdom hearts game for a seventh generation console yet. I have a feeling since Square Enix finally notices that Nintendo's market shares have gone up that they will switch over to the Wii. I could see them being reluctant about putting it on a PS3 right now.

Of kingdom hearts 3? i can't find it. Anyways, the psp version will play out as 10 years before the first Kingdom Hearts game. The DS version will entail what happened to Roxas while Sora was in deep sleep during Chain of Memories. We will also be revealed the fourteenth member of Organization 13. I'm guessing these are both links to what Kingdom Hearts 3 will be.

The Keyblade Wars video was put in the Kingdom Hearts 2 games as a what could happen in the future of KH. (Apparently he originally done it in the first one. Due to the demand he carried on with the series(Don't ask me who said it. I can't remember it was in an official Playstation Magazine))

since the ps3 is such a failure kingdom hearts 3 probably wont be for it. oh, and from what i read, there wont be a kingdom hearts 3. for the psp there will be kingdom hearts: birth by sleep. for the ds, there will be a 4- player game about roxas. and then there will be a mobile phone game that looks strange with bad graphics.

^Umm....I already said all of that. And yes there will be a kingdom hearts 3. Square-Enix said that the games for the DS and PSP will somehow connect to the events that will occur in KH3. You can't forget the true ending of Kingdom Hearts 2.
