Granted, the story became mostly "i luv u 4evr" but warriors need motivation too. Draw, I liked. But it should have been optional/refined. |

And while FF7 gets crap for the 'expansion', I will say that some good things have come from it - though I've only played pieces, I'd say Crisis Core was pretty damn good. You know what game doesn't get enough love? Tactics. God, THAT is an awesome game. Haven't played Advanced, but the original Tactics (and the remake) are seriously good games. |

It's along the same vein as the Fire Emblem series, so it was up my alley. |

Which is something I'd like to see more. |

Take Xenosaga, for example. That game was so complex I couldn't even get past the first hour or so. -CSM |

Yes, the characters suck (sans Auron and Wakka) as does most of the voice acting, as does the story, but it's a VERY fun game to play. One crappy laughing scene shouldn't deter you. -CSM |

I mean, everyone gives Tidus' actor crap, but he actually does a very good job reflecting Tidus' occasionally whiney, childish character. Yuna's VA was the only one I can't really stomach; everyone elses is a pretty darn good reflection of their character. |

Nevertheless I can't stand characters like that, voice acting or not. I couldn't stand Cloud or Squall for similar reasons (although instead of being whiny they came off as jerks). Terra, though an interesting character, was too mental at times to be likeable, although that changes later on. Cecil is definitely caring, although it's hard for me to relate to nobility. That leaves Zidane, and he's just a regular guy with a heart of gold. I can relate to that strongly. -CSM |

'Cause he is a jerk. Seymour's voice was creepy so I liked his voice actor too. I really expected him to be the final boss. |
