Then pick the game up until just before the end, and have someone summarize the ending for you. You'll thank me. Also, I hated both Kratos and Zelos. =/ |

The last hour was by far the strongest part of the game, and the first few were vital to the story. You're going to get a much, much weaker experience from it if you only play the middle. |

Go me. *waves obsessivefan flag* Personally I like most of the characters. I didn't use to like Colette, but she kind of grew on me after I realize what a sucky life she'd had. Hell I dressed up as her for Halloween last year. x{D |

Off the top of my head, Okami, TP, FFTA2 (112 hours, still not 100%), FFXII:RW, KotoR, Red, Blue, WW, Single Civ III games, and several obscure things took much longer than it. |

The middle was fantastic. |

The middle was all about the two worlds and stuff and how they were split by dear ol' Yggy. Origin tells you, however, that he did it by 'betraying' him, after he went all nutso when his sister died. So the main conflict of the game is him going crazy when humans killed his sister, causing him to be all HUMANS SUCK. So really, the ending wouldn't have worked any other way. 'Sides, I like the game just fine. All the Tales Of games are cliched. :{P speaking of which I have recently gotten myself re-obsessed with Abyss. Woot! |

There's no way to turn back and you're stuck there with no possible monsters to fight for leveling up. Don't be the dumbass I was and get through the entire game on Mania mode until that point and have to give up and go to Hard just because you weren't leveled up enough. >_> Also it is official- all green-haired people in Tales Of games are awesome, with the exceptions of Ion and Florian. That is all. |

The 3D movement in Tales of symphonia is just so awkward and clunky compared to even Abyss's. I could readjust to Eternia's, and I really need to finish that game since all I've really got left are Sekundes and Shizel's castle. And 1up, Symphonia's not the longest. I had well over 40 hours at the end of Legendia, and that game doesn't even give you 50,000 hidden items, sidequests, and sub-events like most of the other Tales of games do. (Maybe I have 50 but if it was then 10 were spent wandering around the Forest of No Return in Chloe's character quest. GOD I HATE THOSE THINGS!!!) |
