I've played it, and I'm not convinced. |

On another note I think I proved my geek cred by listing two fairly unknown RPGs go me! - You stupid dog! |

I've seen FFVII fanboys run amok. It's no fun. I helped keep the Final Fantasy Wiki from becoming a place like that. -CSM |

He was cool but...dunno, he was off. |

Without a strategy guide I seriously never would have known how to get Yuffie and Vincent. (And Yuffie actually stuck around in my party until the final battle. The only reason she wasn't stronger than Cloud and Cid was because Square loved to force you to use party members you shelved hours ago without leaking experience) TACTICS OGRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Star Wars: KOTOR (1 and 2) World of Warcraft Guild Wars: Nightfall Kingdom Hearts 2 Pokemon G/S/C Tales of Vesperia Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth Final Fantasy IX Diablo 2 Honorable Mention: Neverwinter Nights for actually being based on D&D and not ripping it off. |

I've always liked Quest 64, because it had the perfect mix of 3-d and turn-based. Not many games can say that. | |

Really good, but not great. Although I will say that it does have one of my all time favorite soundtracks. I will give it credit there. |

Then again FFVI was the first RPG I ever played so maybe that had something to do with it? Anyone else here ever play LoL(Legend of Legaia) or LSSSC(Lunar Silver Star Story Complete), if yes then what did you think about them? - You stupid dog! |

Some people actually cried when Aeris died, but for me I was semi-expecting it (having played years after its release, although I still didn't really know or didn't remember when someone said so) and I just thought "Okay...so she's dead...*shrug*". The only party member whose "Death" I actually had any emotional repsonse to in VII was Cait Sith because I actually used him. Oh and Legaia! THat was a rather unique one. one thing I liked about it was its music, as well as how Cort later went onto play Ramirez in Skies of Arcadia. |

The magic system was diffrent but I enjoyed it as well spells that level with use and are obtained in an almost Pokemon way. Also when you bought your party new equipment you actuly saw them wearing it I always wondered why that feature never showed up more. - You stupid dog! |

It's no gift from God, and by no means is it a masterpiece, and it certainly doesn't deserve cult worship (only the Mother-Earthbound games do, and only because doing so is meant as a parody of the series more than something serious), but it was still fun. That being said, the game was ruined by its legions of fanboys who lack the ability to spell. -CSM |

-Developer laziness -Armour making everyone look really boring and generic, as well as making many attackers who can equip the armour look exactly the same. And that is why they always make stuff look so exotically ornate, because if it was like the armour in King's Quest: Mask of Eternity then it would just be dull plate mail after gray and black Chain Mail after brown leather. -Bugs I bet.
