Persona 3

Awesome game, that.

But.... I imagine something that would be MORE than a little awkward.

What if some [sorta] innocent couple are just doing couple-y things one night when at midnight one of them turns into a coffin but the other one remains conscious?

That would be awkward and creepy as hell.

Thoughts on this awesomely weird game?

I love you. . .

Wait, that's not what I was going to say.
Awesome fusion of Jrpg and Dating sim elements.
I'll finish passing judgment when I can play a few more Shin Megami Tensai games.

I find it kind of odd that when you do a little more role-playing in this game than several others people say it's not a true RPG. But then again, these are megaten purists throwing themselves over Innocent Sin for the sole reason of Hitler and gay romance so....

^Nothing wrong with being anime if it's done well. You can say the exact same thing about western stuff and realism.

The monorail battle was pretty awesome, if only because it was fought on a monorail.

The boss could've been harder, though. I finished with like half the time left over.

I purposely drag out that boss battle.

My only (yet very major) complaint is the freaking Tartarus.

Seriously. Like the history, mystery and overall CREEPINESS of the dungeon are really cool, but...

Come on. It's like a freaking Tales of Legendia dungeon, except worse, longer, with more grinding, and with somewhat of a time limit (with the full moons and all).

It's the same thing over and over again, just wandering aimlessly and killing things. Arrghhh worst dungeon ever.

The game's still hella fun. Now if only Mitsuru would stop trying Marin Karin on the freaking bosses (it actually worked on one of the mini-bosses once, though).

Oh, and love hotel full moon operation ftw.

Lessee....Dare I risk pointing out trends that "Western stuff" has? I'm still waiting for a Western RPG to try ripping off D20 Urban Arcana instead of trying to rip off D&D and set it in Ye Olde Western Europe or Sci-Fi.

Yeah, okay... I'm just bitter that I spent like 100,000 yen on Shinji's armor and weaponry because I was gonna use him for the boss, and then he goes and dies. WTF MATE.

Oh, and huge epic plot twist has occured. I did NOT see that coming, I'll tell you that much.

That's why you DON'T READ SPOILERS UNTIL YOU PLAY A GAME. Because then when it happens you're like 'oh, yeah... uh... whatever' and not like 'OMGWTFBBQ'.

Well my sister said she doesn't think it's worth playing because you play as Aigis rather than random blue emohair dude; and she said it wasn't as fun.

I'll probably end up playing it anyway, just not right now.
