Hopefully not. |

Really, what would the point of having more Chrono Trigger? If you have to bend your game to fit it into the Chrono umbrella, I think it'd make it a worse game. On the other hand, the fanboy in me yearns for more of the same, only better. But there aren't a lot of examples where a good game comes out, and a sequel comes along that I think is a better game. |

Of course, it had a different course--Sonic got bad games, Chrono Trigger got (arguably) one bad game and then sat there. Well, there was the DS remake. |

If anyone's played the DS version of Chrono Trigger, you'll know that the add-on stuff is garbage compared to the original meat of the game. Replaying it again recently, I've noticed that Trigger is not the flawless masterpiece that stood in my mind, but it's still the best. I fear that if there's another 'sequel', it'll just be a crap fest. There's no reason to extend the Chrono series, except for pure marketing reasons. |

In order to get the best ending where Schala (Her actress declined - so they hired the girl who later on went to play Namine for her)is released from Lavos...you have to KNOW what to do and it's more or less a Guide Dang It moment. Now how on earth would you know to get the elements in that particular order instead of actually killing the time devourer? And the story really could have been done better. It was just confusing and I didn't exactly get what was going on until Wikipedia. |

None really come to mind; Lucca's orphanage maybe? I admit, though, fanboy in me would love a new Chrono game, A remake of CT would not be good as a completely new game, it would be redundant. There's the argument that it makes it more accessible to new players, but to hell with them; they're not me and I'm greedy. If I had the choice between buying a game I've played or a new game, I'll take the new one. |

But with the Square Enix team mostly being people who make stuff like that new Final Fantasy in the FF7 ripoff, I don't believe they have it in them anymore. >.> |

It made me like CT less...then I just played CT again and cleansed my palette. I'd love another Chrono Game, honestly. And I'd buy it for sure. Whether it's good or not is up to the the designers, but I'll stay hopeful. Also, I don't think the announcement is for a game. |

Details on the fall of Guardia and marriage of Marle and Crono. ----------------------------------------------------------- That's just a couple I thought up while excluding CC, I could really dig for some more if I wanted to. |
