Starting a PT of this, I just beat Shadow Yosuke.

I'm not that far in but I must say I'm enjoying it more then P3.

Thoughts?

It's slower but I did kind of like how you could control all your characters but at the same time could set the AI to control them.

Persona 3 still had some AI burps. Such as I tell everyone to defend...then Stupei runs in and attacks. >.< or they attack someone with reflect with an ice move and their persona's weak to ice.

They fixed a lot of the TECHNICAL problems in P3... like the AI, which was pretty retarded at times, and the complete repetitiveness of the Tartarus...

But I gotta say, I prefer the characters in P3, and so far, the plot. That being said, I'm not very FAR in P4, so the plot might become epically amazing omgomgomg, but so far it's just kind of eh.

It's still a really fun game, though, one I definitely intend to beat. We'll just see how it compares in the end, I guess.

I like how the shadow selves were in Persona 4. Instead of just "omg omg I'm like you but EVIL! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!" and were just "I am you...just what you haven't thought of before."

Also, I think I already figured out what the 'connection' between all of the cases is. Cuz I'm AWESOME. I'm gonna wait and see if I'm right, though. :{D

It's Adachi. Figures the only one with access to the evidence to taint it.

I liked Rise and Yukiko's shadows more. (Shadow Rise is why the game is rated "M")

I mostly laughed at Yukiko's because I could totally see her face if she turned on the midnight channel and saw herself in that princess suit talking like that.

I'm just wondering how everything will play out-- if the final boss is anywhere near as climactic and epic as P3's was, I'll be satisfied. That bossfight was EPIC. Incredibly long, but undeniably friggin' awesome.

It's not as long until the 1v1 Nyx equivalent but if you know how to unlock the true final boss, the music is QUITE epic.

And you know plenty of Megaten games are quite wordy, right? :P They do have some nice voice acting though, even though I can see why TEddy and Rise may bother a few people. (And THANK GOD there's no Fuuka. ugh I hated her and how she sounded perpetually high)

And I mean, epic music is nice too, but I mean is the battle ITSELF epic and climactic? Because an epic and climactic final boss makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. After I beat it, that is.

I just started the path to the normal ending.

So far my party's Yosuke, Chie and Kanji. (MC is healer, cause I roll that way)

Kanji is the manliest man alive.

Chie is hawt.

Yosuke is awesome, it took me awhile to realize he was VA'd by Yuri Lowenthall...that's a good thing.

Also, DAMNIT Sim Kid!

You're perhaps one of the first people who use Kanji. Most people I know who played it decided that Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko were better. Switch out Yosuke with Teddie sometimes and the rare Naoto user. (I thought she was the main character from Persona 3.)

And P.S....Adachi is secretly ratatosk.

Kanji is hard to play as but fun as hell.

I've tried everyone so far and despite it being easier with Yukiko (She has nice healing and some good offense)

Kanji uses a FRIGGIN' CHAIR.

Considering he's a relatively minor character that's not really a spoiler. It's more of a shot at his voice actor. (and does't he also sorta play the hero in Persona 4 too? I can't really tell since all he says is "Persona!")
