I don't know if I'm going to get it because I'm not going to buy a system just for one game, but the more I see videos of the game the more interesting it looks. Is anyone here planning on getting it? -CSM

Forgot that Terra was initially designed with Blonde hair as opposed to blue. (Though apparently it's green...)

You get to beat up Tidus all you want. Because he deserves it.

And I still wonder if Firion, The Onion Knight, Cecil, golbez, and Kuja will look at each other and wonder if they're all related. :P Heck they probably all got their lipstick from the same Macy's as well. (Same with Bartz but you know his appearance changes a lot.)

I can only get one PSP game right now and it is gonna be "Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny."

Well, I actually need more info on both to make a decision, maybe you guys can help.

Prices of both, and if either has Wi-Fi, not local.

I didn't see anything involving Wi-Fi, but I may have just missed it...

Dissidia Final Fantasy - The Final Fantasy Wiki

Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny - The Soulcalibur Wiki

They both seem to be good, and each seem to have something to offer...

If I had a PSP though, I'd probably go with Dissidia, but its a close call.
My semi-fanboyism for FF is slightly higher than my semi-fanboyism for SC, so that may have also influenced it. XD

I'm only going with Broken Destiny. I may rent Dissidia, though. When you hate or don't like a bunch of characters in the game(Dissida), it makes it hard to pick up, ya know?

It's basically a bunch of Classic and Modern FF characters beating the ever loving hell out of eachother.

The battlesystem is good, and the air combat sort of reminds me of some DBZ games.

^I didn't like all the characters in Brawl (I'm no fan of the Pokemon or Peach or Bowser or or Sonic or Mario) but I still loved the game. -CSM

The battle system reminds me more of Kingdom Hearts, as in the boss battles. Good God I'm going to get motion sickness.

For some reason Bartz is Mime Class. And the Onion Knight is acting like a defender of Terra.

I never liked the KH battle system, so all the more reason to stick with a game(and series) I like.

I only like around half of the Final Fantasies, so yeah. The only Soul Calibur game I didn't love was Legends(and for good reasons, though it wasn't a bad idea or anything, it's just that the controls STUNK horribly).

I love Luigi, the Koopa Kids, Wart, and pretty much everything Nintendo retconned. Mario isn't the Mario I grew up with. I like NES, SNES, and Super Show Mario. -CSM

Right. So I've imported it, and have thus been playing it non-stop, I've just beat the main story mode with Squall (Who is my main.)

The game is fantastic, the story is weak, but it's acceptable.

You can choose any song in the game to battle to in quick matches, all the characters bar exdeath seem relativly balenced, you can record and export your own videos in AVI format, and alot more. Each character has a distinctive fighting style, for example, my two most played characters fighting styles are as follows;

Squall: Uses alot of combos to rack up damage points, but his main attacks are only counters, really.

Cecil: Uses both Dark Knight and Paladin forms, paladin form is to be used in midair, for sweeping attacks, and dark knight for slow, accurate attacks.

More on this later.

I can't stop watching videos. I think it's because the characters are fighting in the air. With swords. I seem to like watching that, nowadays.
