Their dreams are filled with bizarre weaponry and technology, and every dreamer fights for the nation of Marlas against the nation Pare. Could there be a connection? Despite the futuristic setting this game actually focuses on swords and magic. Guns as we know them don’t exist, and the closest thing to one is so hard to recharge that they really aren’t a weapon you can solely rely upon. You CAN die in this game, but the only effect is that the dreamer wakes up and when you go back to the dream world time has passed by. This is primarily to stop me from having to think up of creative ways to stop players from getting their ass kicked and dying. Name: Gender: Class: (See below) Story Preference (optional): What kind of story you want. No matter what it’s gonna be high-tech military fighting, but I can kinda customize the story. Remember, you are Marlanian and are fighting Pares. Think high-tech sci-fi junk. Dream is a heavy class based game. Despite the fact that it contains only 3 main classes, there are classes abound to make up for it. Unlike other games, getting to a new class won’t be hard at first. Yeah. Soldier: Your regular warrior. They are trained with the use of “Beamers” (think something like light sabers, except the energy weapon can be changed.) They’re very tough and dependable Enel: The thief or apprentice of this game. Enels posses the ability to create the equivalent of a rather weak Beamer in each hand instantaneously at will. However, the Beamer is a two-handed weapon, and the ability to create two weapons and out of thin air is very useful. Enels like to use the form two short-swords or daggers, but can combine both of their energy weapons into a rapier. Nothing bigger can be produced. They are very versatile, and can attack while on the defense. Strong Enels can manipulate their environments, resulting in a magic like effect. Blaster: Users of projectile energy weapons. Guns do not exist in the dream world, but a projectile energy attack can be emitted from beamers. These attacks are extremely powerful, but the energy is impossible to recharge unless one has the proper equipment (weighing around a ton). Thus, they also train in Soldier skills. The fact that they have to spend part of their training with long-range beamers and such makes them not quite up to par with the Soldier in hand to hand combat. Beamers can be outfitted with additions. While your side outfits you with standard weapons, it’s up to you to get and use modifications. Thus, each soldier can enhance his strengths or shore up his weakness. Also, beamers can be used as shields. Since Enels have two, they can attack while having a weak shield protecting them. |
