There are six people immediately surrounding you, three males and three females. They all look as dazed and confused as you, but some are starting to sharpen up. A wide-eyed teenage girl, who is extremely attractive despite her young age, stands up fastest. She speaks in a pleading, overly innocuous tone.

Girl: Oh, sirs! My name is Sediki. Would one of you strapping young lads not protect an innocent young lamb such as myself?

What do you want to do? (You can talk to Sediki, look at the others, attack someone, etc.)

Sediki: Oh, great!

A young man begins talking with one of the women. They seem to reach an agreement and start to back off.

An older man, who looks strong and dangerous, approaches a weak-looking teenage girl. He brandishes his stick at her.

Man: Name's Tonnhart, girl. You can make this easy on yourself by not fighting back.

The woman begins to back away tremblingly.

The last person, a tough teenage boy, is eyeing Sediki. She notices, and points you in his direction.

Sediki: I don't like the way he's looking at me. Do something! Go!

What do you want to do?

I look at the teenage guy menacingly. Nothing worse than having to fight two enemies at once. I ready my stick and move in front of Sediki, into a defensive stance. This will be good. "Get ready or get going, kid."

Sediki considers this.

Sediki: Oh, I don't know. I can always use more protectors... alright.

Her countenance shifts. She becomes sharp and severe.

Sediki: You two! Attack that girl!

She points to the weak, trembling girl that Tonnhart is backing down. That particular worthy seems not to notice you.

Sediki: Or get the man if you want, he looks stronger.

Sediki moves behind you and a bit to the side, stick ready.

Do what?

"Hey, you, sick guy!"

I point at the Tonnhart guy with my stick, trying to scare him. Psychology is good.

I take the offense, yelling "Spark attack!" to get him off guard and charging at him with the stick.

Tonnhart: Spark-- what... okay, kid, let's go.

He turns around and sizes you up. Sediki again shouts at the boy to defend her, and he rushes up instantly, going ahead of you.

BATTLE

The boy surprises Tonnhart and hits him once.

Tonnhart attacks the boy twice, bellowing in his face. The boy collapses under the force of the two attacks.

Tonnhart: Yeah... still wanna fight me, kid?
Sediki: Oh... my. Er... how strong you are, Tonnhart!

The older man ignores her, and looks at you next. Attack?

Also, I'm gonna put Seraph (character's Mateus) in with you, for reasons I stated in the main topic. Anyway...

You fake him out and attack. The strike hits home and he reels for a bit. He recovers in a quick second and rushes you. The hit staggers you, but you're still on your feet, if barely.

There's also a male that you didn't notice before. He took a little longer to recover than the others, but he's on his feet by now.

This particular man creeps up behind Tonnhart and smashes the back of his head. Tonnhart collapses to the ground dead. His killer steals his stick and presses a ring-- identical to yours-- to his heart. A phantasmic form of Tonnhart appears to rise up out of his body. It strains downward against the pull, as Tonnhart was a proud man, but the spirit has no choice in the matter. It is sucked into the man's ring. You see a brief, brilliant flash in the man's eyes.

Do what?
