There's no real cover, the grass isn't even tall enough to hide in, and it's broad daylight, so you stop about half a mile away. You're not sure how much closer you could get without being seen. |

Rain pours down from the sky, and you hear thunder crashing in the distance. While you were waiting, the squire continued down the road and out of sight, and the rider went into the keep and stabled his horse. The spearmen were replaced by two others. It's very dark out, although you can see dim lights coming from a few windows in the keep. Do what? |

The guards are huddling just inside the doorway, where torches cast some illumination into the darkness beyond. You stop about a hundred yards away-- you're well out of the light, but approaching head on any closer might risk detection. Do what? |

You reach the keep's wall undetected. There's a window a floor above you that you could easily reach with the rope and grappling hook. No light is coming from it. There's another perhaps three or four stories above you that has light coming from it. It'd be tougher to reach with the rope and hook, but it might be possible. You're guessing that the prisoners are being kept below the first floor in a dungeon or some kind of holding cell, but you aren't positive. Do what? |

It takes a couple tries, but you get it to latch on. You climb up the rope and enter the room, which is only dimly lit. There are doors leading to other rooms to the east and south, and a door to the central stairwell to your southeast. As far as you can tell, the room is vacant, but you hear some voices upstairs, downstairs, and in the room to the south. Do what? |

This seems to be a storage room for extra supplies-- clothes, polish, whetstones, spare cutlery, etc. The only way out is the way you came. Do what? |

You rummage about and find a set of clothes that looks okay and fits. You quickly change and shove your old clothes into your pack. Now what? |

The only way out of the stairwell is a doorway to the north. You hear someone whistling idly to the west, and some low talking from the southeast. You aren't sure how the builders worked out the layout of the dungeon, since the tower is round and you're already in the central stairwell. Do what? |
