Javelin enters the pokemon Center and heals her pokemon.

"Have a nice day!"

In the pokemon center, there's a man in the corner playing with his Pikachu, and a small girl in the corner.

Wanting to be social, Javelin goes over to talk to the man playing with his Pikachu, maybe she could make Charmander a new friend as well?

The man looks over at Javelin.

"Hey, thats a nice Charmander you have there! The pokemon world is tough out there, but you seem to be raising it well. here's a little gift, keep Charmander healthy!"

Javelin receieved Potion!

"So, how is your pikachu, you ever have any thoughts of...giving it up?"

"Hey! That was just a friendly token. Dont take it for more than it is. Run along and keep charmander healthy now."

Javelin walks away sort of dissapointed, yet she did get a potion so it wasnt all bad...

Deciding the night was still young, Javelin went outside and started to head North a bit, noticing early on the rather large Pokemon Gym on the small hill near the north exit of the town.

Javelin walked north. She could now go to the Pokemon Gym which was to the right of her or straight up to Viridian Forest, or back down to Viridian City.

It was always a good idea to check out the gym in every city . . . so she went up to see what the Viridian Gym was all about, and if she would have a chance at beating it . . .

Javelin went up to see what the Viridian Gym was all about..."Woah, where do you think you're going?" A man standing by the door said. "You're not aloud in here yet. The leader is not here and you dont look tough enough anyway." Now run along, just go."

Javelin didnt question and walked back to where she was. At this point she could either go north towards viridian forest or back south to viridian City.

Seeing as her Pokemon is quite healed, and that since the Pokemon Gym in this town was still quite off limits, Javelin saw little reason to stick around for the moment, thus she moved forward, north, toward the dense area of Viridian Forest.

Before getting to Viridian Forest, there was a patch of tall grass Javelin had to walk through. It wasnt long before she was in there she felt ta push of something on her...

LV 6 Nidoran V. LV 6 Charmander

Charmander lunged forward with a Scratch!

It hit Nidoran right in the stomach.

Critical Hit!

Nidoran's HP: 12/24

Nidoran countered with a tackle!

Charmander's HP: 22/28

Charmander lunged forward again with a Scratch!

Nidoran's HP: 6/24

Nidoran used Tackle!

Charmander's HP: 16/28

Charmander used Scratch!

Nidoran Fainted!

Charmander grew to level 7!

Javelin continued on and reached the entrance to Viridian Forest!

She could either go back to Viridian(And heal), or go into Viridian Forest.

(You forgot to mention Charmander now knows Ember, he gets it at LV7, http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-rs/004.shtml) ^^

Although she knew her Charmander was strong, she didn't want to risk getting lost in the forest without a fully healed Pokemon, so Javelin deicded to run back to the Pokemon Center to heal up, it wouldn't take too long . . .

Hmm, Gamefaqs said it learned it at 9, (Which is what I also previously thought.) But I guess we'll go with it on level 7.

Anyway, Javelin ran back to the pokemon center to heal and ran back to Viridian Forest. She sighed glad she was in the forest. She looked left and there seemed to be a path with some tall grass. She looked right and there was some tall grass. She looked forward and there seemed to be a trainer or two, a path, and some tall grass. Which path will you take?

(I always just use serebii with the most beneficial moveset, if not combining them if they differ too much, you might have been looking at an old moveset list)

Feeling adventurous, Javelin waves to the cloest trainer, calling out to him, "hey! You there! Are you a trainer? Do you want to battle?!"
